Icon-o-clash Masters Tournament betting pool

In week 16, MacGyver and Mr. Incredible both fell, giving us the wall seen below. Round 1 is now complete, and the table has been reorganized to reflect not only the scores of each team, but the number of icons lost. It seems cruel to single out Baywatch Joe for his unique score, so I won't.

Congratulations to Moxywoman, who suffered no defeats in Round 1 and leads the pack. She'll be the one to watch as weeks progress. If anyone worried that the organizers enjoyed a strategic advantage in the pool, our positions near the bottom with few icons remaining should allay their fears.

Round 1 started with 70 icons on teams out of 128 (55%), of which 43 chosen icons advanced to round 2, represenenting 67% of the remaining battles. This means that the chance of multiple knockouts increases as weeks go by.

Round two also means that icons that are knocked out now gain a single point for their Round 1 victory, but risk a 2 point penalty for a SQUASH defeat, so a few unlucky choices will net a negative score. So the board will enjoy more shuffling as matches close.
