The teams are chosen
As discussed, the teams will remain hidden to reduce strategic betting, but they have been finalized. Random draw allowed picks to occur in the following order: Baconwrapped, Moxywoman, Westbear, Baywatch Joe, Hutch, Lora, Melephant, and AhhhCrap. I followed the last team, and A-bear insisted on choosing last, since he already knew the pairups (my team was chosen without knowing the match order or the choices of other players).
Although I worried that order of choice would make a big difference, each player got his or her first choice (except one team: mine), and to try and balance the difference, the order of choice reversed in even draft pick rounds (ie A-bear got first choice of his second pick since he chose last on the first one). I can explain the process in more detail if anyone is interested.
There'll be a post this weekend, since the first week is already live, and here's a preview: Some team members are looking like they're getting knocked out!
