Ok, people. Have you been reading? It's time to decide if you're in or you're in or you're in or you're in or you're in. For now all you have to do is post a comment here saying that you want to pick your team.

Scoring this time will be the same as last time, each round worth more points, and squashes worth double or nothing.

Icons this time will be chosen in teams of seven, and only one team will be able to choose any given icon. Furthermore, to minimize the "voting against" scenario, icons will only be revealed after they have been defeated. Al and I call this the "Holdem" style, since every person has seven "cards" which they keep secret from other players.

The teams will be assigned according to a "draft pick" scenario. Each person who wants to play ought to make a list of 15 or more secret choices in order of preference from the final list Al has prepared, and he or she will be assigned a team of seven from his or her picks according to a draft order. The commisioner has chosen without knowledge of the match order, and I will do the same.

Team selections must be received on December 31 2006 (EST), in order to be able to start Round One in January 2007. We'll find out who battles who as the matches go forward.
